Uttar Pradesh: Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti will be celebrated with great pomp in UP with Ramayan recitation and bhajans, CM Yogi gave instructions

The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh seems very excited about Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti. The government has issued guidelines regarding the Jayanti. On this day, Shri Ramayana will be recited in temples across the state. Along with this, bhajan kirtan will also be organized. On this special occasion, the government will organize a large-scale program at Ram Path Gaman Sthan and Maharishi Valmiki’s Taposthal Chitrakoot. In this program, the government is preparing to give a place to local artists on the stage.

Yogi government gave instructions
On Valmiki Jayanti, the Yogi government has instructed that the Jayanti will be celebrated in all the districts of the state on October 17. Along with this, lamps will be lit and Deepdaan will be done at all the places related to Maharishi Valmiki. Along with this, Ramayana will also be recited. For this, instructions have been given at the district, tehsil and block level. The Yogi government has ordered to make foolproof arrangements for cleanliness, security, drinking water etc. of every venue.
