On the occasion of World Standards Day, a program was organized by the Bureau of Indian Standards Dehradun branch in the capital Dehradun. In which Food Minister Rekha Arya also participated along with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. A large number of school students were also present in the program.

Where the importance of the Bureau of Standards was explained to the school students in the program. At the same time, the importance of ISI mark and hall marking was also explained. The children were explained why ISI mark and hallmarking are necessary while shopping.
Need to make the general public more aware
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami says that there is a need to make the general public more aware right now. Especially the common people of rural areas should be made aware of ISI mark and hallmarking while shopping. He hopes that the Bureau of Indian Standards will spread awareness in this direction.
