Uttarakhand: Former Chief Minister ND Tiwari was remembered in Haldwani, Congress workers paid tribute

Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and Vikas Purush Pandit Narayan Dutt Tiwari was remembered today on his birth anniversary and death anniversary in Haldwani. Congress workers paid their tributes on this occasion.

Party workers and leaders at the Congress Swaraj Ashram remembered Pandit Narayan Dutt Tiwari by paying tributes to him on his birth anniversary and death anniversary. The Congress District President said that Vikas Purush Pandit Narayan Dutt Tiwari’s birth anniversary and death anniversary fall on the same day i.e. 18 October and Tiwari played an important role in the development of the entire country.

Congress workers paid tributes

The Congress District President said that he was not only the minister of almost all departments at the Center but also the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand four times as well as the Governor. He made an invaluable contribution in writing a new history of development for Uttarakhand. Not only this, he is still remembered for establishing the Congress and contributing to the society through various means.

He had a special attachment to Haldwani

ND Tiwari had a special attachment to Haldwani. Let us tell you that ND Tiwari’s primary education started from Haldwani. ND Tiwari contested his first election from here in 1951-52 and became a Socialist Party MLA from Nainital seat. He established a school in the name of Mata Chandravati in Dhaulakheda and also laid the foundation of Sushila Tiwari Hospital in the name of his wife.
