Uttarakhand: Once again a conspiracy to overturn the train! Iron rods were placed on the track, a major accident was averted

A major rail accident was averted in Uttarakhand. The Dehradun Express coming from Kathgodam to Dehradun had iron rods on the track. The train ran over them. As soon as a sound and spark arose from under the engine, the loco pilot suspected danger. Seeing this, the pilot stopped the train by applying emergency brakes and a major accident was averted.

A 15 feet long iron rod was placed on the track

The incident took place at 4:30 am on Wednesday. According to the information, the train was coming towards Dehradun. As soon as the train reached between Doiwala and Harrawala, the loco pilot heard a loud sound. Hearing this, the loco pilot stopped the train by applying emergency brakes. When the loco pilot’s assistant got down from the train and looked, he found a 15 feet long iron rod lying under the engine. Somehow the iron rod was removed and the train was sent to the railway station.

Such an incident has come to light in the past as well

The loco pilot has informed the railway officials about this. Along with this, a case has been registered in Doiwala police station. Let us tell you that this is not the first case. Earlier also, some anti-social elements had placed an iron pole on the railway track in Bilaspur area situated in Uttar Pradesh border, away from Rudrapur station. Apart from this, such incidents have been reported from different states of the country these days.
