Uttarakhand: Rapid raids for women’s safety in Haldwani, many people arrested

Due to the increasing crimes against women in Haldwani, now the police and administration team is conducting raids in the city late at night. Action is being taken against anti-social elements and hooligans under the police’s Operation Romeo. Many people have also been arrested under this campaign conducted late at night.

Haldwani Police has conducted an operation regarding the rapid increase in crimes against women and the continuously increasing incidents. Under which the action taken late at night is still going on. Under this, many anti-social elements and hooligans have been arrested and action has also been taken late at night.

Continuous raids will continue at unsafe places

City Magistrate AP Bajpai says that sensitive places have been identified in the workshop conducted at various places in view of women’s safety. Continuous raids are being conducted at those places. 58 people have also been detained in the raid. Keeping in mind that there should be a safe environment for women in the city, continuous raids will continue at unsafe places.
