276 doctors will soon be recruited in Uttarakhand Health Department, requisition sent to the selection board
In Uttarakhand, the government is engaged in the exercise of filling the vacant posts in the health department to improve health facilities. In this episode, the Medical Health Department has decided to fill the posts of 276 medical officers. In this regard, the Health Department has also sent a requisition to the State Medical Service Selection Board. After this recruitment process, not only will the shortage of doctors in the state be removed. Rather, people in mountainous and remote areas will be able to get health facilities at the local level.
Efforts to fill the backlog posts of doctors lying vacant
Uttarakhand Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that the government wants to provide better health facilities to the people at the local level by removing the shortage of doctors in the state. Due to which the government has decided to fill the backlog posts of doctors lying vacant in the health department for a long time as soon as possible. Along with this, its requisition has also been sent to the selection board. He said that care is being taken to ensure that patients do not face any kind of problem in government hospitals.
A monitoring system is being developed to ensure that patients get better treatment along with medicines in hospitals. Along with this, the presence of doctors, paramedical staff, pharmacists is also being strictly monitored. Along with this, the state government has approved the appointment of seven more faculty in Government Doon Medical College. These faculty have been selected through a walk-in-interview conducted under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor of Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University. Which includes two associate professors and five assistant professors.
All of them have been appointed on contract basis. Among the selected faculty members, Dr. Priyanka Dobhal in the Department of Community Medicine and Dr. Pallavi Pandey in the Department of Dentistry have been appointed as Associate Professors. Similarly, Dr. Shivang Patwal and Dr. Manish Kumar in Microbiology, Dr. Arshi Khan in the Department of Pathology, Dr. Juhi in Obs and Gynecology as well as Dr. Amit Kumar in the Department of Neuro Surgery have been appointed as Assistant Professors.
