There was a time when by the time November arrived, the morning and evening cold would start to be felt but this year the heat is not going away and the cold is not coming.

Why was October hot?
A few years ago, cold used to knock by the end of October, but this year, forget October, November has also started but cold is still ‘missing’. Climate scientists are also very worried about this change in weather. They believe that all this is related to global warming. In such a situation, climate scientists said that the biggest reason for October being hot this time is the absence of Western Disturbance. Due to which there was bright sunshine in October and such a big difference was seen in the maximum temperature. If the Meteorological Department is to be believed, cold can knock in Delhi NCR after November 10.
Pollution is also troubling Delhi
Delhiites are facing the brunt of both heat and pollution these days. Due to pollution, many people are also having difficulty in breathing. At the same time, some people are also complaining of burning sensation in the eyes. Let us tell you that firecrackers were banned in Delhi on Diwali, but still there was a lot of fireworks in the capital. Due to which a blanket of fog was seen in many areas of Delhi this morning.
When will the cold come?
India Meteorological Department (IMD) Director General Mrityunjay Mahapatra said that the temperature in the northwestern plains will remain 2-5 degrees above normal for at least the next two weeks, after which it will gradually fall. Mahapatra said that the weather office does not count November as a winter month. He said that January and February are considered winter months, while December shows signs of cold.
Chances of rain in these states in November
The Meteorological Department has said that in the southern peninsula, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala and Mahe and South Interior Karnataka are expected to receive above normal rainfall in November due to the north-east monsoon. The Meteorological Office said that most parts of the country are expected to receive above normal rainfall except some areas of Northwest India and Central India.
