If existence is threatened…, Russia again threatens US with nuclear attack for helping Ukraine
Russia, which has been embroiled in a war with Ukraine for the last two and a half years, has once again threatened America with nuclear weapons. Russia has said that if it does not want World War-3, then its nuclear threats should be taken seriously. This threat to America has been given by former Russian President and Vladimir Putin’s confidant Dmitry Medvedev. He was the President of Russia from 2008 to 2012.
They are wrong on our nuclear weapons – Medvedev
Medvedev, who is currently serving as the Deputy Chairman of Russia’s powerful National Security Council, said, ‘America’s top officials did not want a third world war. Along with this, many of them believe that under no circumstances will the Russians cross a certain line. But they are wrong.’
‘They lack the foresight of Kissinger’
Speaking to Russian media channel RT, Medvedev said, ‘Moscow believes that the current American and European political institutions lack the foresight and subtlety of mind of Henry Kissinger. They are looking at things from their own perspective. They have no concern for the concerns of others.’
Medvedev further said, ‘If we are talking about the existence of our country, as our country’s president has repeatedly said, your humble servant (US President) has said, then rest assured that in case of an existential crisis, we will have no option other than nuclear weapons.’
Russia is constantly sending signals to Western countries
According to Russian media, the war that has been going on for about two and a half years is now entering its most dangerous peak. As Russian forces are advancing in eastern Ukraine, the US and Western countries are considering how to strengthen Ukraine. Sensing this situation, Russia is constantly signaling to Western countries and the US that if they help Ukraine in firing long-range missiles, Moscow will give a strong response. At the same time, NATO countries say that North Korea has also joined the war with Ukraine. It has sent a large contingent of its soldiers to Western Russia to help the Russian soldiers.
