Uttarakhand: Cleanliness drive is being run in Kedarpuri and the pilgrimage route, this is the preparation
The doors of Kedarnath Dham have been closed for the winter. After which, as per the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a special cleanliness campaign is being run on the foot journey route including Kedarpuri.

Giving information, Dhananjay Pathak, manager of Sulabh International, said that a cleanliness campaign is being run by about 60 environmental friends. Along with this, a cleanliness campaign is also being run by about 60 environmental friends of Nagar Panchayat Kedarnath. Under the campaign, plastic waste is being collected in plastic bags from Kedarpuri and the Yatra route.
Preparation to collect plastic and deliver it to the compactor
Plastic waste will be collected and delivered to the compactor located in Sonprayag. From where it will be compacted and sent for proper disposal. At the same time, organic waste of hotel and restaurant operators is also being disposed of. Waste material of shops has also been left unclaimed at various places by many shop operators, it is also being disposed of. Horse dung and other waste material is also being disposed of.
