Uttarakhand: Dehradun’s air has become very bad, AQI has crossed 280, fog and smoke all around

The air of Dehradun has become very bad. The air quality is bad for the fifth consecutive day. On Thursday, the AQI of the capital Doon crossed 280. The same is the condition of other plain cities of the state. Where the AQI of Kashipur and Rishikesh was recorded at 143 and 150.

The air of Dehradun is getting worse day by day. On Thursday, the AQI of the capital was recorded at 289. For the last four days, the air quality of Doon has been recorded in the poor category. Due to poor air quality, people are facing many problems. Such bad air is harmful for the health of heart and respiratory patients as well as normal people.

The air of the plains of the state is not breathable

Not only Dehradun, the air of other plains of the state is not breathable. Where the quality of air of Rishikesh and Kashipur has been recorded in the poor category for the last few days. Talking about Kashipur, AQI 143, AQI 150 in Rishikesh and AQI 161 was recorded in Haridwar.

Due to lack of rain, fog and smoke are everywhere

Due to lack of rain, fog and smoke are being seen in most of the plains of the state. The effect of stubble burning in the states adjacent to the state is also being seen in Uttarakhand. Member Secretary of Pollution Control Board, Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate said that stubble is being burnt in the states adjacent to the state, the smoke of which is reaching Doon with the direction of the winds. Due to which the air of Dehradun is also getting polluted.
