Uttarakhand: Lakhs of rupees were defrauded in the name of getting a job abroad, police arrested the accused agent
Police has arrested the accused who cheated people of lakhs of rupees in the name of getting them jobs abroad. The accused cheated people of lakhs of rupees by sending them forged documents and appointment letters through mail in the name of sending them abroad.
Fraud of lakhs of rupees in the name of sending them abroad
Gurdeep Singh, son of Paramjit Singh, resident of Doiwala, had given a complaint to the police on November 15 regarding the matter. In the complaint, Gurdeep told that Anand Gupta (39), son of late Hariom Gupta, resident of Pitambarpur Baronwala, owner of Reni Immigration Company and his wife Tania Gupta took all the documents including Rs 24 lakh in the name of getting them jobs abroad.
Police arrested the accused
Gurdeep told that Anand had also sent him a fake appointment letter for getting him a job in Britain as a skilled worker. When he got suspicious and asked for his money back, the accused abused and threatened him and threw him out of his office. On the complaint of the complainant, the police have registered a case against the accused and arrested accused Anand Gupta.
