Additional Secretary Dr. Rakesh Gupta held a high level meeting at the President’s Secretariat, ‘Rashtrapati Aashiyaana’ located at Rajpur Road, Dehradun will be opened for the public

The historic President’s House located on Rajpur Road in Dehradun will be open to the public from the coming month of April. On the instructions of President Draupadi Murmu, the officials of the President’s Secretariat reached Dehradun on Saturday, held a meeting with the state government officials and instructed to provide necessary facilities to the public in the house.

On the instructions of President Draupadi Murmu, the 186-year-old President’s House located in Dehradun is now being opened to the public. This complex spread over an area of ​​21 acres is currently being used by the President’s Bodyguard (PBG). For the necessary preparations before opening the complex to the public, Additional Secretary Dr. Rakesh Gupta held a high-level meeting with senior officials of the Uttarakhand government at the President’s Secretariat in the house on Saturday. It was decided that the general public will be able to enter the main building of the complex. During this time, people will get a chance to get acquainted with the history of the 251-year-old regiment of the Indian Army, PBG, along with the Rashtrapati Aashiyana and its 186-year-old stable.

During the walk, people will also be able to enjoy the beautiful gardens and cafeteria of the campus. In the meeting, instructions were given to provide facilities of electricity, water and parking before opening the campus for the general public. PBG CO Colonel Amit Berwal, OSD Swati Shahi as well as Uttarakhand Government Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Sachin Kurve, Pankaj Kumar Pandey, DM Dehradun Sween Bansal and other officials were present in the meeting. Earlier, on the instructions of the President, President’s Nilayam in Hyderabad and President’s residence in Mashhobra have also been opened for the general public.

He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
