The fire brigade employees barely controlled the fire.

Elloras Bakery manager Mahipal says that Eloras Bakery caught fire this morning. Due to the fire in the bakery, two other nearby shops have also been damaged. Due to the fire, all the goods kept in the bakery have been burnt to ashes. He told that 5 fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and controlled the fire. He told that a fire broke out at Eloras shop at night, after which the fire reached the two adjacent shops in the early morning. Due to which the goods of both the shops were also burnt to ashes. He told that at present the damage is being assessed. At the same time, there was a stir on the spot due to the fire in the bakery. The fire was so fierce that the shop was burnt to ashes in a moment.

During that time also, the fire brigade personnel who reached the spot on information, controlled the fire after a lot of hard work. In 1953, Krishna Lal Gulati made a name for himself by establishing the bakery industry. This shop started in a small form in Rajpur Road. After this, this bakery is now considered the largest bakery in Dehradun. Over time, many branches like Ellora, Ellora Movement, Melting Moments, Neni’s Bakery, etc. were opened. But due to the fire in the oldest establishment, all the goods were burnt to ashes.
