A scooty coming from Ghansali of Tehri towards Dehradun met with a major accident on Narendranagar-Ranipokhari motor road. It is being told that the scooty suddenly went out of control near Gujarna and fell into a ditch. A woman died in the accident. While three people including two children were injured.

The accident is being told of Sunday evening. According to the information, two women and two children were coming from Ghansali to Dehradun on a scooty. Meanwhile, the scooty went out of control near Gujarna and fell into a 150 meter deep ditch. After the incident, rescue work was done and all the four injured were admitted to the hospital. Where doctors declared Anju (28) dead.
One woman died in the accident, three including two children injured
The injured include Anju’s mother Pushpa Devi (50), wife of late Bharat Singh, Anju’s 4-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter. All three were first brought to Suman Hospital Rajendra Nagar, from where they were referred to a higher centre due to their critical condition. The police have taken the body of the deceased into custody. There is a wave of mourning in the area after the tragic accident.
