Amid the ongoing tension between Iran and Israel, Iran has indirectly warned Pakistan. Deputy Mission Chief of the Iranian Embassy in New Delhi, Javed Hussaini, said on Friday that if any third party gets involved in this conflict, it will have to face serious consequences. He said that it is hoped that Pakistan will stand with us. Pakistan will have to understand that if Israel is not stopped today, then many more countries will face attack in the future.
Javed Hussaini said that this is a conflict between Israel and Iran. The entry of any third party in it will increase the complexity. We have some undeclared powers, which we have kept safe for the future. This statement came to the fore when he was questioned about the meeting of Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir with Donald Trump at the White House. Hussaini said, “We warn that if any third party gets involved in this war, it will have serious consequences.”
Questions raised on Asim Munir’s diplomatic activities
Iranian officials clarified that they have noted Asim Munir’s recent visit to America. Just a few weeks ago, he visited Iran and met Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and now he has also met Donald Trump. Questions are being raised on social media as to which side Pakistan, which is Iran’s neighbor, actually stands on – Tehran or Washington?
No resentment towards India: Tehran
Husseini denied any resentment towards India and said that “Tehran expects better understanding and cooperation from India in future.”
Bias on IAEA and criticism of G7
The Iranian diplomat said that the International Atomic Energy Agency is working at the behest of Israel and the G7 countries always favor Israel. He stressed that Iran is a signatory to the NPT (Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty), but we will not surrender unconditionally.” This statement came after Donald Trump wrote unconditional surrender on social media. Hussaini strongly responded and reiterated, “We will not surrender unconditionally, this is certain.”
Operation Sindhu: Iran continues to support India
Iran has also reiterated its full support to Operation Sindhu launched by India. Under this operation, efforts are being made to safely evacuate Indian students trapped in the Iran-Israel conflict. Three chartered flights of Iran’s Mahaan Air will soon depart from Mashhad to Delhi and the students will be evacuated in batches. He also informed that out of about 10,000 Indians in Iran, 1,000 have already been evacuated safely, and flights will continue to evacuate the rest.
