‘Now I remember Himachal…’, Kangana Ranaut said she will visit, people got angry; said- what is the use of visiting after the devastation

a
Film actress Kangana Ranaut, who is an MP from Mandi parliamentary constituency of Himachal Pradesh, finally woke up to the terrible disaster in the state, when she started facing sharp criticism from all sides for her silence.
When people were yearning for help in Seraj, Thunag, Janjheli and other areas of Mandi, which were devastated by the disaster like the worst flood, landslide and cloudburst of the century, MP Kangana neither came forward, nor expressed any condolences nor announced any kind of help.
Sharp questions started arising in the media regarding this silence. Youth, social workers and Congress leaders of the state also raised questions on her silence. In such a situation, Kangana said through an internet media post that I am going to Himachal Pradesh. Will visit the disaster affected areas soon. Please rest assured, I am with Himachal Pradesh in every situation. Jai Hind
But the anger of the people is still not calming down. The general public is asking that when people were buried under the rubble for four days, roads were broken, houses were ruined, families were washed away, where was their MP then? Many people wrote on the internet media – now everything is washed away, then what is the use of the visit?
Kangana hurt public sentiments
Kangana, who described herself as the “daughter of the mountains” during the elections, was completely absent during the disaster. While Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, other ministers, central representatives and local administration were engaged in relief work on the spot, Kangana’s absence hurt public sentiments.
Political analysts believe that this statement and proposed visit is only an attempt to calm criticism and improve the image. However, now all eyes are on whether this visit of Kangana will remain only a formality or she will actually bring some concrete help for the affected people.
