c
The results of the Panchayat elections in Uttarakhand have changed the political equations in the entire state. On one hand, BJP is claiming its victory. On the other hand, the figures presented by Congress show that Congress is leading. Out of the 320 candidates authorized by BJP in the state, BJP has won 106 seats. Congress had authorized 200 candidates in the entire state, out of which 98 have won. In this way, if the percentage of victory is seen, Congress is ahead of BJP. BJP has won about 33 percent of the seats as compared to its authorized seats, while Congress has been successful in winning 49 percent of the seats.
BJP State President could not save his booth: Among the big leaders of Uttarakhand BJP, who have had the worst performance at the assembly and booth, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt is at the forefront. Bharatiya Janata Party has faced a crushing defeat at Mahendra Bhatt’s booth.
In fact, there are a total of 26 seats of District Panchayat member in Chamoli district. Out of which BJP could not win even half a dozen seats. BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt lost his booth in Badrinath assembly. BJP has lost many seats in the assembly of Tharali MLA Bhopalram Tamta. BJP has lost most of the seats in the assembly of Karnaprayag MLA Anil Nautiyal.
Social worker Atul Sati says that the graph of Bharatiya Janata Party is continuously falling in Chamoli district. BJP had earlier lost the by-election of Badrinath assembly. After that BJP faced disappointment in the civic elections. While now BJP has suffered a defeat in the Panchayat elections.
Sitting block chief in Bageshwar gets only 8 votes: Apart from this, an amazing election result has been seen in Bageshwar district as well. In Bageshwar district, Parvati Das, wife of former cabinet minister late Chandan Ramdas, is the MLA in Bageshwar assembly and here BJP authorized sitting block chief Pushpa Devi has got only 8 votes. Here an independent candidate has won. Congress’s authorized candidate was at second place.
Ministers and MLAs of Pauri are in bad shape: Apart from this, if we talk about the ministers, then there are 10 booths for Zila Panchayat member in Srinagar, the assembly of senior minister of the government Dhan Singh Rawat from Pauri Garhwal district, out of which the party had authorized its candidates on 7 booths, but BJP has won only 3 of them. Congress candidates have won on 5. Apart from this, independents have won on the rest.
After Dhan Singh Rawat, there are 6 booths for Zila Panchayat member in Satpal Maharaj’s assembly, out of which BJP has lost 4. Apart from this, BJP could not get its authorized candidate to win even at the booth where Pauri Lok Sabha MP Anil Baluni had voted. Apart from this, MLA Dilip Rawat’s wife Neetu Rawat also lost the election of Zila Panchayat member in Lansdowne.
BJP is in bad shape in Udham Singh Nagar: BJP saved Chief Minister Dhami’s booth Nagar Tarai in Udham Singh Nagar. But apart from that, Komal Chaudhary, wife of BJP OBC Morcha State Vice President Upendra Chaudhary, lost the election in Udham Singh Nagar. BJP could not win even a single booth in the constituency of Rudrapur BJP MLA Shiv Arora. Rather, Sushma Haldar, the candidate supported by Rajkumar Thukral, whose ticket was cut by BJP in the assembly elections, won the election.
People’s stick came down on BJP’s nepotism: Apart from this, if we talk about senior BJP leaders who lost the elections across the state, then apart from former district president Satendra Rana in Uttarkashi, BJP has also lost the election at MLA Bharat Chaudhary’s Ratuda booth in Rudraprayag. At the same time, MLA Asha Nautiyal from Kedarnath also failed to save her booth.
If we talk about the performance of the close ones of senior BJP leaders-
