Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Dehradun’s Kunawala market on Wednesday as part of a public awareness program to promote the “Adopt Swadeshi” campaign and the new GST rates. During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with shopkeepers and local citizens, educating them on the benefits of using indigenous products and the recently implemented new tax rates.

CM Enumerates Benefits of Indigenous Products
Chief Minister Dhami said that adopting indigenous products is not only an important step towards a self-reliant India but also increases employment opportunities for local artisans, small industries, and youth. He urged people to use more indigenous products in their daily lives and reduce dependence on foreign products.

New GST Rates Aim to Simplify Business Activities
The Chief Minister stated that the revised rates are aimed at facilitating the general public and simplifying business activities. He added that a transparent and simple tax system will boost the state’s economy. The CM said that only through public awareness and active participation of the people, the “Adopt Swadeshi” campaign will achieve widespread success and the economic condition of the state will be further strengthened.
