Uttarakhand: CM Dhami approved Rs 2838.45 lakh for development works in various districts

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami approved several schemes for important public welfare and security projects in various districts of the state. The Chief Minister stated that the state government, in accordance with the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas,” is continuously working for the overall development of the state.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami approved a scheme worth ₹495.77 lakh (four crore ninety-five lakh seventy-seven thousand only) for the replacement of damaged sewer lines in the Laxman Chowk area leading to Jhajhra, under the South Branch of Dehradun district, and reconstruction work up to Barrage Mehalgaon Chowk.
Also, under the Pithuwala Branch of Dehradun district, the Chief Minister approved a scheme worth ₹243.14 lakh (two crore forty-three lakh fourteen thousand only) for the sewer line replacement in Shraddha Enclave and the construction of STP and network work in the entire Enclave and Priyadarshini Enclave.
The Chief Minister approved a scheme of ₹ 1455.09 lakh (fourteen crore fifty five lakh nine thousand only) for flood protection work for the safety of Indira Gandhi International Sports Complex (Stadium) in Gaulapar area of Haldwani development block of Nainital district. The Chief Minister also approved the release of 40 percent amount of ₹ 582.00 lakh (five crore eighty two lakh only) for its first phase.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh approved grant amount to various districts from the State Disaster Relief Fund. In which Champawat got Rs. 20.00 crore, Udham Singh Nagar got Rs. 5.00 crore, Tehri Garhwal got Rs. 10.00 crore, Director, ULBMSO Dehradun got Rs. 0.50 crore, Dehradun (for other items) got Rs. 1.41 + 0.75 crore, thus the total sanctioned amount is ₹ 37.66 crore (Thirty-seven crore sixty-six lakh only).
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave approval for preparing a Feasibility Report (PPR) under the National Earthquake Risk Reduction Programme (NERMP) run by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and sending it to the Government of India.

The safety of the state’s citizens, the expansion of infrastructure, and protection from natural disasters are our top priorities. These schemes will not only strengthen infrastructure but will also significantly improve people’s living standards. The government is committed to implementing every scheme with transparency and prompt implementation.”
