Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today conducted a detailed review of the preparations for the “Government for the People, at the Doorstep of the People” program at the Chief Minister’s residence. On this occasion, he directed officials and public representatives to ensure that the benefits of the central and state government’s welfare schemes reach every last person in the state under the “Administration Towards the Villages” campaign.

The Chief Minister instructed that multi-purpose camps be organized in a phased manner in all the Nyaya Panchayats (village-level administrative units) of the state for 45 days, starting from December 17, 2025. Through these camps, officials should visit rural areas, collect application forms from the general public, and ensure that eligible individuals benefit from various schemes and that their problems are resolved promptly.

He said that the program should be conducted at every Nyaya Panchayat level, and in larger Nyaya Panchayats, more than one camp should be organized as needed. Adequate information about the schemes run by the central and state governments should be provided at the camps, and it should be ensured that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits.

The Chief Minister also directed that after the camps, officials should visit nearby villages to help eligible beneficiaries fill out application forms and identify and address the needs of those who have not yet benefited from the schemes. Extensive publicity should be carried out before the camps, and all residents of the Nyaya Panchayat should be informed at least 3-4 days in advance.

He said that the District Magistrate’s presence should be ensured at one camp every week, while senior administrative officers should be present at the other camps. Officers from the designated departments should be present at the camps to resolve public grievances on the spot.

The Chief Minister emphasized the important role of public representatives and said that their 100% attendance at the camps should be ensured. Organizational and elected leadership should play a leading role in resolving public problems and promoting the schemes.

He directed that each program be properly registered, that beneficiary satisfaction be prioritized, and that weekly progress reports of the programs be provided to the Chief Minister’s Office, the Chief Secretary’s Office, and the General Administration Department.

Also present on this occasion were MLAs Bharat Singh Chaudhary and Suresh Gadiya, and Principal Secretary R.K. Sudhanshu, Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman, Additional Secretary Banshidhar Tiwari, and State President Mahendra Bhatt (who joined virtually), along with many MLAs, public representatives, and office bearers associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party organization, were present.
