Sourav Ganguly has filed a defamation lawsuit seeking Rs 50 crore in damages, a case related to Lionel Messi’s event held in Kolkata

He alleges that Saha made continuous false and controversial accusations against him, which have damaged his personal reputation and attempted to tarnish his character and standing in the public eye. Sourav Ganguly stated that Uttam Saha did this deliberately, and therefore he has sent a legal notice and filed a ₹50 crore defamation suit. Ganguly also clarified that he attended the event at the Salt Lake Stadium as a guest and had no connection to Messi’s program. Following the filing of this lawsuit by Sourav Ganguly, all eyes are now on the court proceedings.
