Sourav Ganguly stated that Uttam Saha did this deliberately, and therefore he has sent a legal notice and filed a ₹50 crore defamation suit. Ganguly also clarified that he attended the event at the Salt Lake Stadium as a guest and had no connection to Messi’s program. Following the filing of this lawsuit by Sourav Ganguly, all eyes are now on the court proceedings.
