The Indian Army has once again busted a terrorist hideout. Terrorists linked to the Pakistan-backed Jaish-e-Mohammed had planned to stay for a considerable time in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir, and had even built a strong bunker for this purpose.

The terrorists had camouflaged the bunker with stones from the outside to keep it safe and hidden from view. The bunker contained enough food and supplies for several months, indicating the terrorists’ intention to hide there for a long period. However, the army discovered this secret hideout.

The army destroyed the bunker after a counter-terrorism operation. During the operation, one commando was martyred, and several others were injured.

The bunker contained 10 kg of basmati rice, sacks of lentils, 50 packets of noodles, wheat and millet, crates of potatoes and tomatoes, spices, and other food items. Two large LPG cylinders were also found, along with a burner and dry firewood. A firefight ensued between the terrorists and security forces.
