Uniform Law Implemented Across the State
CM Dhami said that under the leadership of the PM, we had promised the people of the state to implement the Uniform Civil Code before the 2022 assembly elections, and we have fulfilled that promise. He said that our state is a border region. It is the source of the Char Dham, Ganga, and Yamuna rivers. Our state is also very sensitive from a security point of view. In such a situation, a uniform law should have been implemented for all the people living in the state, and we have done just that.
The Chief Minister urged everyone to come forward in spreading awareness about the public welfare schemes run by the central and state governments and the decisions taken at the state level, so that more and more people can benefit from these schemes.
