Uttarakhand : Decision on COVID Curfew will be taken after reviewing data : Subodh Uniyal
Despite the reduction in the cases of corona infection, the government may refrain from further relaxing the COVID curfew implemented in the state. In view of this, the curfew period can be extended by a week. During this, preparations are being made to maintain the current system itself. According to government spokesperson and cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal, any decision regarding curfew will be taken only after reviewing the data.
The period of COVID curfew implemented in the state is ending on June 15 at 6 am. In view of this, all eyes are on the government whether it will lift the curfew or will keep it for a few more days. According to sources, churning is going on at the government level in this regard. It is also coming to the fore that if the curfew is lifted or if more relaxation is given, then the hard work done so far for the prevention of corona infection will not take long. In view of this, emphasis is being laid on moving forward step by step. Sources said that at present, the COVID curfew can be extended till June 22. During this, the present system, including opening the market three days a week, can be kept unchanged.
Along with this, in the districts of the state where there has been a decrease in the cases of corona infection, the District Magistrate can take a decision regarding exempting the area from the curfew. The government has already authorized the district magistrates for this. At the same time, according to the government spokesperson and cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal, any decision regarding curfew will be taken only after reviewing the data.
