He urged the media to be helpful in sensitizing the public about wearing a mask covering the nose to chin in public places, following social distancing rules and washing their hands frequently with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer.

The Deputy Commissioner said that at the present time, it is necessary to get the Kovid test done proactively if required so that the harm can be avoided by timely treatment. He urged everyone to get the COVID test done immediately in case of symptoms like cough, cold, fever and keep their family and society safe by following the rules.
He said that the administration is making preparations at all levels to deal with the possible third wave of Kovid-19 and the Health and Family Welfare Department has been directed to ensure all equipment and arrangements.

Krutika Kulhari said that media has always been at the fore in providing information about various welfare policies and programs to the people and through ‘feedback’ the information of public expectations to the administration and in this direction, the cooperation of the media will be expected in future also.
He said that timely completion of various development projects in Solan district would be his priority as per the directions of the State Government. Special attention will be given to timely completion of National Highway work in the district.
