India to become $15 trillion economy in next two decades: Adani

Expressing hope of India becoming a $5 trillion economy, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani today said that in the next two decades our country will become a more than $15 trillion economy.

Mr. Adani said at the Annual General Meeting of Adani Enterprises that India will become a $5 trillion economy. India will be a $5 trillion economy in the next 4 years. No one should doubt this. He said that history is witness that new opportunities emerge after every pandemic. This time too, India and the world have got to learn a lot. Then in the next two decades an economy of more than $ 15 trillion will be made. There will be many obstacles in this path. This has happened before and is likely to happen in the future. But there is no doubt that the growth of India’s vast middle class, working age and consumption population will have a positive impact on the progress of the country.

He said that the last year was difficult for business but companies have carved out new avenues for themselves by going through unprecedented circumstances. Traveled through the face of adversity and emerged stronger.

Mr. Adani said that our portfolio market capitalization has crossed $100 billion in the first week of this new financial year due to the excellent performance of our listed companies. Adani Group is the third industrial house in the country after Tata Group and Reliance Industries to achieve this feat.
