Diesel has reached Rs 102.52 per liter in Mumbai and Rs 94.57 per liter in Delhi. With this increase, petrol has crossed Rs 100 per liter in all the state capitals. At the same time, diesel has crossed the century in about a dozen states. Now diesel in Bengaluru, Daman and Silvassa has crossed Rs 100 per liter. Due to this, the price of petrol has now become 33 percent more than the ATF. The ATF in Delhi is Rs 79,020.16 per kiloliter i.e. Rs 79 per litre. Petrol has reached Rs 117.86 per liter in Ganganagar, Rajasthan. There diesel has become Rs 105.95 per liter. In the last week of September, the process of revision of vehicle fuel prices started again after three weeks. This is the 16th increase in petrol since then. At the same time, the price of diesel has been increased 19 times during this period.

Earlier on Monday, for the seventh consecutive day, domestic petrol became costlier by 30 paise per liter and diesel by 35 paise per liter. After that there was peace for two days but since then there has been a boom. After the increase, petrol in Mumbai has become Rs 111.77 and diesel Rs 102.52 per liter. In Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, petrol has become the most expensive at Rs 114.45 per liter and diesel at Rs 103.78 per liter. In Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, petrol has reached Rs 100.25 per liter and diesel has reached Rs 99.80 per liter by hitting a century. Still petrol in Ranchi is still the cheapest in the whole country.
Right now the price of petrol has crossed Rs 100 per liter in most of the major cities of the country and diesel in most of the major cities of the country is also moving towards a century.
