Defeated in by-election due to concussion, BJP will seek answers from 24 leaders in Himachal Pradesh

After the defeat in the by-elections of three assembly and one Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh, the BJP is continuously engaged in churning. Not only this, state vice-president Kripal Parmar and Sirmaur district president Pawan Gupta have even resigned from the post. Meanwhile, the party has decided to issue show cause notices to 24 leaders to prevent infighting and indiscipline. Senior party leaders believe that it is necessary to do so to prevent indiscipline. The issue of indiscipline dominated the ongoing three-day meeting in Shimla. Apart from this, infighting has been considered as an important reason for the party’s defeat.

All senior party leaders including CM Jai Ram Thakur, former CM Prem Kumar Dhumal admitted that the activities of some people were anti-party. Due to them votes were cut and the result has come out in the form of defeat. Apart from state in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna, party’s national vice president Shyodan Singh is also participating in this meeting. In this meeting, there is a churning about the defeat of the by-election and if necessary, changes can also be made from the government to the organization. A report in this regard will be prepared and sent to the central leadership.

Talking to the media, party’s state spokesperson Randhir Sharma said that cognizance has been taken in the meeting that some leaders have suffered damage due to infighting. Show cause notices will be issued to these people. Not only this, action can also be taken if there is no satisfactory answer. Not only this, Sharma openly admitted that the results of the bypolls are eye-opening for the BJP and a strategy will have to be made to deal with it so that it can win the 2022 assembly elections. Not only this, he said that a major reshuffle in the government and organization can also be stamped from the central side of the party.
