Truth and Reality

The government of Uttarakhand who won the election from here, AAP’s colonel is the candidate from here

The history of this seat, which is the origin of the river Ganga (Bhagirathi) of religious importance in the country, has been very interesting. In undivided Uttar Pradesh, this seat was known as Uttarkashi. Which came into existence from Gangotri after the formation of the state. In which the marginal development block of the district, along with Bhatwadi, includes Dunda and the municipal area Barahat (Uttarkashi). Whichever party wins the election in this seat, its government is formed. Due to this myth that has been going on for almost seven decades after independence, political parties throw their full force to win this seat.

Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia has announced that Colonel Ajay Kothiyal will contest from Gangotri seat. And Kothiyal’s name has also appeared in the list of candidates. Earlier, the Gangotri seat was occupied by the BJP, but after the death of MLA Gopal Rawat, this seat is vacant. Even before this, after the formation of the state, this seat has remained in the court of BJP and Congress. This time this seat has become very hot due to Kothiyal coming to the ground. But this path of Kothiyal will be challenging because Kothiyal is new in politics and BJP Congress is a big challenge. Although the BJP-Congress has not declared its candidates, now it will be a matter to be seen that Kothiyal competes with the veterans of the Congress.
