Senior BJP leader Tika Prasad Maikhuri has announced to contest the election against the party for not getting ticket from Karnprayag assembly. After the announcement of the tickets, he has revolted by sharing the post on social media. He has accused the party of treachery.
He has said that the party has continuously cheated and wronged me. Whose vengeance is in the public and in my mind. I have always worked with the party like my mother. Never betrayed the party, but those who betrayed the party and opposed the party were brought forward by the party.
Former rank holder Jagveer Singh Bhandari will contest against BJP candidate
At the same time, senior BJP leader Jagveer Singh Bhandari has decided to contest against the official candidate of BJP from Yamunotri Vidhan Sabha constituency. He has said that the BJP lacks the identity of loyal and grassroots workers. I am cheated every time. He will contest from Yamunotri Assembly Constituency. Magan Singh Bisht reacted sharply
Former chief Magan Singh Bisht, who is considered to be ahead in the ticket race, reacted sharply after the name of sitting MLA Vinod Kandari from Devprayag assembly seat was announced as a BJP candidate. Alleging money-force in ticket distribution, he said that he will stand in the assembly elections according to the aspirations of the people and will answer it.
The former chief said that despite his name being at the top of the panel, the sitting MLA was preferred by some key party functionaries. Angry over the ticket being cut, former chief Bisht lashed out at the sitting MLA. He said that the MLA has crossed all limits to benefit his loved ones and relatives. Suraj Ghildiyal, former state secretary of BJYM, has resigned from the membership of BJP in protest against the ticket to Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat and the expulsion of Dr. Harak Singh Rawat from the party. He has sent his resignation letter to the party’s district president and state president. Ghildiyal said that the way BJP has humiliated Dr. Rawat and expelled him from the cabinet and party, he is hurt. He also accused the local MLA Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat of neglecting the youth and the area.
State Minister Balbir Ghunyal expressed displeasure over not getting ticket
BJP’s state organization minister Balveer Ghunyal expressed displeasure over not getting ticket from Tharali assembly seat, calling it neglect of workers. Said that this has lowered the morale of the workers associated with the party for a long time.
Tharali assembly seat includes Pindar Tharali, Dewal, Narayanbagad and Ghat blocks. Balveer Ghunyal has been contending for the ticket since 2007. On Thursday, the BJP announced 59 candidates, including Bhupalram Tamta’s name from Tharali seat.
On the party’s nomination of Bhupalram Tamta as its candidate, the party’s state minister Balveer Ghunyal said that in the year 2017 also his ticket was cut at the last moment. This time too his ticket was canceled at the last minute. He said that Bhupal Ram Tamta joined BJP from Congress in 2018. If the party does this then how will the workers join the BJP.
