The Rajasthan government has given instructions to stop the auction of agricultural land in the entire state. In this regard, CM Ashok Gehlot has given information by tweeting. In a statement, Gehlot said- ‘The state government has instructed the officials that if the farmers are not able to repay the loan, then their land should not be attached or auctioned.’

In a statement released on micro-blogging site Twitter, CM said- ‘Due to non-payment of loans of farmers by commercial banks under the control of Reserve Bank in the state, land attachment and auction proceedings have been initiated under the Removal of Difficulties Act. is going. The state government has instructed the officials to stop it.

State government waived loans of cooperative banks- Gehlot
He said- ‘The state government has waived the loans of cooperative banks and has urged the Government of India to waive the loans of farmers by doing one time settlement with commercial banks. The state government is also ready to bear its share.

Gehlot said, ‘Our government had passed a bill in the Legislative Assembly to ban the auction of land of farmers having agricultural land up to 5 acres, but due to lack of permission of the Governor, this law could not be made. I am sad that such a situation has come due to non-making of this law. He expressed hope that this bill will be approved soon.
