Actor Praveen Kumar Sobti, who played Bhima in BR Chopra’s Mahabharata, passed away at the age of 74. Praveen was known for his huge stature. He also played the role of Villain in many Bollywood films. The 6 and a half feet tall actor and player were from Punjab.

Praveen Kumar was ill, wife was taking care
In December last year, Praveen Kumar said in an interview with the media that he has been in the house for a long time. Health is not good and there are many types of abstinence in eating. At home, wife Veena takes care of Praveen Kumar.

Before joining acting, he was an athlete
Let us tell you that before joining acting, Praveen was a hammer and discus throw athlete. He had won four medals (2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze) in the Asian Games. He has also represented India in two Olympic Games. He was also an Arjuna Awardee. Due to sports, Praveen Kumar got the job of Deputy Commandant in the Border Security Force (BSF).
