Uttar Pradesh : Rakesh Tikait said – ‘They are not worshipers but priests who take sacrifices’

Bharatiya Kisan Union’s national spokesperson Rakesh Tikait on Sunday took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party and said that ‘they are not worshippers but priests who take sacrifices’. Taking a jibe at the BJP over the death of farmers during the one-year-long farmers’ agitation in protest against the agricultural laws withdrawn by the Centre, Tikait said, “They look like priests by their costumes, but they are not worshipers but to take sacrifices.” He is a priest. They have sacrificed more than 700 farmers.
Talking to reporters, Tikait alleged that the BJP has been campaigning in the region for the past one month by targeting a particular fraternity. “It does not suit a saint and the chief minister of the state (Yogi Adityanath). The Prime Minister and the Chief Minister do not belong to any party but to everyone.
Tikait said that the BJP does not have the contract to give the certificate of Hindutva. He said, ‘Now the Muzaffarnagar model will not work. Various things are happening in this election, the public is watching everything. People are not going to be misled by anyone.’ He claimed, ‘This time Hindus, Muslims and Jinnah will not allow matches in West Uttar Pradesh.’
