The candidate who won the Gangotri seat is sure to form the government of the same party

Of the 70 assembly seats in Uttarakhand, one Gangotri seat is a VIP and is associated with myth. It is believed that whichever party’s candidate wins from this seat, the government is formed by him. Before the formation of the state in Gangotri Vis seat, the myth of the party whose MLA formed the government in the state remains a myth. This has emerged as a VIP seat after Aam Aadmi Party’s CM face, retired Colonel Ajay Kothiyal, entered the fray from Gangotri seat. On which after 19 years the coincidence of triangular match has been made. Congress won both the seats in 2002 and 2012 and the Congress government was formed in the state. While BJP became MLAs from both the seats in 2007 and 2017, BJP formed the government in the state. There is a special eye on these seats for the 2022 elections.

The chief ministerial candidate never won from Khatima

In the four assembly elections held after the formation of the state, it has been a myth that the chief minister did not win the election. Whether this myth will be broken in Khatima or will remain intact, all eyes will be on it. In Khatima, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is contesting and in front of him is Bhuvan Kapri of Congress. Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate SS Kler is making a third angle in the election.

Uttarakhand got 11 Chief Ministers in the political journey of 20 years

In Uttarakhand’s 20-year political journey, the state has got 11 chief ministers. Till now, only former Congress CM Narayan Dutt Tiwari was able to complete his five-year term. At the same time, talking about the government, Congress was in power from 2002 to 2007. Then in 2007, when there was a change of power, the BJP government was formed. In 2012, Congress again made a comeback and gave two chief ministers. After this, in 2017 BJP formed the government with a thumping majority and changed the faces of three chief ministers in five years. There is also another myth that those who contested the elections as Chief Minister have not been able to return to power. People have changed power in every assembly election. In such a situation, it has to be seen whether the current CM Pushkar Singh Dhami can break this myth or not.
