Uttarakhand : Big blow to Congress, State Vice President Jot Singh Bisht left the party before the by-election

The infighting in Uttarakhand Congress is not taking its name to stop. On Friday, State Congress Vice President Jot Singh Bisht has announced to quit the party. Congress has suffered two major setbacks in Uttarakhand. Jot Singh Bisht, senior party leader and state vice president of Uttarakhand Congress, has finally left the party. Jot Singh Bisht had also contested the elections in the recently held Uttarakhand assembly elections 2022 from Dhanaulti assembly seat on a Congress ticket. However, he had to face defeat in this election. Along with Jot Singh, his son Himmat Singh Bisht has also left the Congress. Himmat has resigned from the primary membership of the party including the Congress State Spokesperson.

Let us tell you that being unhappy with the functioning of the Congress state cause, he has resigned from the membership of the party. Jot Singh Bisht has been continuously complaining of concussion within the party since the election, but no hearing has been received from him till now. Jot Singh Bisht had held the responsibility of state vice-president in Congress for the last several years. Been a member of the party for almost 40 years.
