Delhi Police declared AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan as Bad Character, said- he is a habitual offender

Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan has been declared BC (Bad Character) by Delhi Police. On 30 March, the DCP has approved the proposal to make Amanatullah Khan as BC. There are 18 criminal cases registered against Amanatullah. Police claim that Amanatullah is a habitual offender. Cases of land grabbing and assault are registered against them.

On March 28, a proposal was issued by SHO Jamia Nagar to make Amanatullah Khan the BC of Bundle A, which the DCP approved on March 30. Let us tell you, Delhi Police has arrested Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan from Okhla. He has been arrested for obstructing government work. On Thursday, the civic bodies of Delhi launched an anti-encroachment drive in various areas. During this there was a huge protest in Madanpur Khadar area. Amanatullah Khan was also present in the protest.

Police said that local people tried to stop the bulldozers in Madanpur Khadar area and pelted stones at the security personnel. At the same time, the local people claimed that even legitimate structures were being demolished. After this, the police took many others including Amanatullah Khan into custody. Later he was arrested.

After being taken into custody, Amanatullah Khan had tweeted saying, “Lathi-charge by the police on the people opposing the bulldozer system of BJP is unconstitutional. We are against the anti-people policies of BJP, I will always raise the voice of the rights of the people, no matter how many times I have to go to jail for this.
