Uttarakhand / Rishikesh : Notice to two establishments on irregularities

In view of the Chardham Yatra, the departmental team conducted a checking campaign in various business establishments, restaurants in the city. From rate list, license to quality of food items checked. During this, a notice was issued on finding irregularities in a restaurant and business establishment.

On Tuesday, a joint team of Food Security, Supply, Weight Measurement and Tehsil Administration took action in grocery stores, restaurants, dhabas and shops selling food items at places like Joint Travel Bus Stand Marg, Main Bazaar, Trivenighat Road etc. The departmental team instructed restaurant and dhaba operators to ensure cleanliness. Warned of action against any lapse. Sanjay Tiwari, Senior Food Safety Officer, Food Safety Department said that action was taken in 24 business establishments on Tuesday. Everywhere from the rate list to other arrangements were found correct. Told that notice has been served for not getting food license at The Ganga View restaurant on Ghat Road and not submitting verification of weighing equipment at Shivalik Pickle Shop in Main Bazaar. The team included Supply Inspector Vijay Doval, Inspector Baat Maf Jagdish Uniyal, Collection Amin Vinod Tiwari etc.
