BORIS JOHNSON- What happened in Britain can be imagined in India?
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has resigned amid a political storm in Britain. Within twenty-four hours, 40 ministers resigned, increasing the pressure on Boris Johnson even more. These situations started with Finance Minister Rishi Sunak and Health Minister Sajid Javid. Boris Johnson announced his resignation after addressing the nation on Thursday. But what happened suddenly that such a crisis arose in front of Boris Johnson?
In fact, the name Chris Pincher has come up in the center of this entire rebellion, he is accused of sexual abuse. In February this year, Boris Johnson appointed Chris Pincher as deputy chief whip. In July 2019, Chris Pincher got a place in the Johnson government and was then made housing minister. He was also made deputy chief whip by Johnson in February this year. On June 19 in Piccadilly, London, two complaints came to light against the 52-year-old MP over his conduct at the Carlton Club.
He was accused by two men of touching him in an objectionable manner while intoxicated. When the pressure on this increased, Chris Pincher had to resign from the post of Deputy Chief Whip. After the newspaper report surfaced, his own party alleged that Boris Johnson was aware of Chris Pincher’s allegations, yet did not take any action against him.
The Prime Minister was accused of not acting on the allegations against Chris Pincher and of giving him a place in the government even after being aware of the whole matter. On July 1, the government claimed that Boris Johnson was aware of Chris Pincher’s misconduct. But on Monday it was said that the prime minister was aware of allegations that had either been settled or that no further action had been taken after a formal complaint.
For which British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had to resign and the ministers of his own government put pressure on him. Is it possible in India to resign? Recently, the son of a minister of the central government of India was accused of ramming the farmers, pressure was created by the leaders of all kinds of opposition, but Prime Minister Modi has left, none of the ministers of his government put pressure on him, even moral himself. Did not resign on grounds.
Similarly, in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, there was a crime with a woman, the allegation was on the MLA of the Uttar Pradesh government. The BJP leader was hit. But unless pressure was created by the opposition, not pressurized by the court, the current government did not even expel the leader of its party from the party. Many such examples have been filled in the last 8 years. There was so much morality in the leaders of Boris Johnson’s government inside Britain that they pressured their government, pressured their prime minister to resign. But is it possible in India?
In fact, the morality inside the leaders of the current central government seems to be getting exhausted completely. If any minister or MP of this government even tries to show morality, then he is afraid that an attempt should be made to crack down on him with CBI and ED. If, under the constitutional right, the ministers of this government or Prime Minister Modi himself are seen protesting somewhere, then those who oppose are immediately arrested. What has happened in Britain is proof somewhere that democracy is still alive there. There is morality left in the leaders of the government.
