It was revealed that money was received from Qatar in the form of cryptocurrency
Just a few days ago, the investigation of Phulwari Sharif terrorist module case revealed that the accused used to receive money in the form of cryptocurrency from Qatar. Police had said that Marguv Ahmed Danish (26), a resident of Phulwari Sharif, was arrested on July 15 for allegedly running two WhatsApp groups Gazwa-e-Hind and Direct Jihad to propagate anti-India views. A police official said, evidence collected during the investigation revealed that Danish had received money in the form of cryptocurrency from Qatar-based organization Alfalhi.
The officer had said that the investigation also revealed that Danish was associated with Pakistan-based radical organization Tehreek-e-Labbaik. He was also in regular contact with Faizan, a Pakistani national. “Investigators have found that messages insulting the national flag and emblem were being shared on the group (Gazwa-e-Hind),” he said. He said Danish was the admin of the group and was also in contact with several other foreign groups.
