‘Go back’ slogans raised against BJP President JP Nadda in Patna College, AISA gheraoed

Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nadda faced protests from students at Patna College. In the college, the student organization AISA raised slogans against JP Nadda, as well as gheraoed his car. The BJP President had come to attend a program in Patna College. As soon as he got out of his car after reaching the campus, the students started shouting slogans against him. Seeing the matter growing, JP Nadda sat back in his car. Even after this the students did not stop, they even surrounded their car. During this, protesting students can also be heard demanding the status of Central University to Patna University. JP Nadda himself has also been a student of Patna College. The special thing is that there is a protest against JP Nadda in Patna College at a time when there is an NDA coalition government in the state. In such a situation, the question arises whether the state government and the police did not get any information about this protest and sloganeering in advance.

Significantly, these days BJP is organizing a big meeting in Patna, the capital of Bihar. After a long time in Bihar, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is organizing such a meeting. During this meeting, top party leaders including Home Minister Amit Shah and JP Nadda are interacting with senior party leaders across the country. However, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is not looking very excited about this BJP meeting. This is the reason why he can distance himself from this meeting.

More than 750 BJP leaders from across the country are attending this two-day meeting in Patna. On the other hand, Janata Dal United seems to be uneasy about this meeting. Supporters of Nitish Kumar are also raising questions about the timing of this meeting of BJP. He says that the state is facing severe drought these days. The way Patna city is littered with hoardings and banners regarding this meeting, it definitely raises the question that what was the need of organizing this meeting in such a situation. At present, there are no elections to be held in Bihar, so choosing Patna for such a meeting is raising many questions.

According to a source associated with JDU, it is also feared that after this meeting, BJP leaders are planning night rest by their leaders in 200 assembly constituencies of the state. The special thing is that the seats won by JDU are not included in these assembly constituencies. CM Nitish Kumar wants that the BJP should plan for night rest on the 121 seats it had contested during the assembly elections.

There are also apprehensions that the BJP is planning night rest by its leaders in 200 assembly constituencies – barring 43 seats won by the JD(U), a source close to the party said. Party sources indicated that Mr. Kumar would have preferred BJP leaders to camp only on the 121 seats they got under the seat-sharing agreement during the assembly elections.
