On the instructions of Dhami, STF filed chargesheet against 18 accused, remand of 21 gangster accused approved

The Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami government is continuously working towards making Uttarakhand a corruption-free state. In the campaign against corruption, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took tough decisions as soon as he received complaints about irregularities in Group C recruitment examination in different departments conducted by the Subordinate Service Selection Commission. In the paper leak case, STF has filed a chargesheet against 18 out of 41 accused on the instructions of CM Dhami. They have been charged with cheating, forgery and under the Examination Act. Trial against them will start soon after taking cognizance of the court. Apart from this, STF has now started preparing chargesheet against 23 accused including Hakam Singh and owner of RMS company. It is believed that almost all the accused have been arrested for rigging the graduation level recruitment examination. From the beginning of the examination held in December 2021, things of rigging were being said. A preliminary inquiry was conducted on this and on the orders of the CM, a case was registered at Raipur police station on July 22. After this, from July 24, the STF started making arrests. In this sequence, six accused were arrested on July 24 itself. Among them were two employees of the company conducting the examination. Apart from this, a junior assistant of the court was also involved. It was initially learned that an employee of the company sent the exam question paper to his other colleagues through telegram. After this, a series of new arrests started. Uttarkashi emerged as the center of this examination rigging. The district panchayat member Hakam Singh was also arrested by the STF on August 13. When the link opened after the copying mafia center, the investigation reached Rajesh Chauhan, the owner of RMS Techno Solution Company. It was found that the paper was leaked by him, for which Rs 2 crore was taken. Till now 41 accused including total mastermind Musa have been arrested in this case. STF SSP Ajay Singh said that according to the rules, the chargesheet has to be filed in the court till the accused spend a period of two months in jail. Therefore, in the preliminary investigation, chargesheet has been filed against 18 accused after collecting sufficient evidence. The court will take cognizance soon, after which the trial will start against these 18 in the case.

Remand of all 21 gangster accused approved
The judicial remand (judicial custody) of all the 21 gangster accused in the paper leak case has been approved. That is, now they will also be prosecuted under the Gangster Act. STF had taken action against 21 accused under the Gangster Act recently. This case was also registered in Raipur. The STF had sought judicial remand of all of them on Tuesday. This was approved by the court.
