Today is the election for the post of Congress President. Mallikarjun Kharge and Shashi Tharoor are in the fray for the post of president. More than 9,000 delegates across the country will exercise their franchise to elect the new president.

225 Delegates (Delegates) of the Pradesh Congress Committee are exercising their franchise in the election of the National President of the Congress on Monday. Polling will be held from 10 am to 4 pm at the state Congress headquarters on Rajpur Road. Counting of votes will take place on Wednesday. After almost 24 years after the counting of votes, the president of Congress will be from non-Gandhi family.
Delegates will vote in state Congress headquarters
State Congress President Karan Mahra has expected all the PCC members to exercise their franchise by reaching the state Congress headquarters on time. Said that the representatives who are not present here can vote by postal ballot.
