Uttarakhand : Baba Badri’s doors opened
The doors of Badrinath Dham were opened on Tuesday at 4.15 pm in Pushya Nakshatra and Vrisha Lagna at Brahmamuhurta.
On Monday morning, at nine o’clock, from the Yoga Dhyan Badri temple, Pandukeshwar, Rawal (chief priest) of Badrinath Dham along with Ishwari Prasad Namboodri, Utsav Doli of Kubera and Uddhav ji and Gaddi of Adi Guru Shankaracharya left for Badrinath Dham and reached Dham at 11 am.
On behalf of Narayan Flower Rishikesh and Badri-Kedar Pushp Seva Samiti Rishikesh, the Sinhawar and other shrines of Badrinath Dham have been decorated with 20 quintal flowers for the inauguration. In view of the corona infection, only the religious and Acharya Brahmins were allowed to visit the temple along with the rightful deities of the temple. State Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat said that Char Dham Yatra has been postponed due to Corona epidemic. In such a situation, I pray to all people that they should worship at home only.
On the opening of the doors of the dham, Kubera and Uddhavji were established in the Badrish Panchayat (Badrinath Garbhagriha). In view of the corona infection, the Badrinath Dham complex, Taptakund and Aastha Path were sanitized.
All the vehicles were sent towards Dham only after sanitizing near the Badrinath bus base.
