Gaza City : The conflict has now erupted on two fronts for Israel following clashes between the Israeli police and Palestinians at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound. On the one hand, the war of missiles on the sky continues as Hamas targets Israeli cities with rockets and Israel air strikes on the Gaza Strip. 6 people died here in the latest attacks. The Israeli army said, “We have flown several terrorist hideouts from the Hamas-ruled area amid rocket firing.” In the ongoing war for nine days, sewage pipes in the Gaza region have been sludge on the streets, hospitals and schools are closed and thousands of people have been displaced. The situation is so bad that the only corona test lab in Gaza is devastated, sewage is flowing in the streets and pipes to provide drinking water to eight lakh people have been broken. The sewage system here is destroyed and the plant, which supplies fresh water to 2.5 lakh people, is closed.
17 hospital-clinics in Gaza are damaged due to which 20 lakh people are in humanitarian crisis. Here 6 lakh students have left school and around 72,000 people have migrated from their homes. So far 219 Palestinians have been killed, including 63 children and 36 women, while 12 Israelis have also been killed in Hamas rocket attacks. But so far there are no signs of a ceasefire.
In the Israeli attack, Gaza’s house of 40 members of the al-Astal family has also been turned into rubble, although all escaped from the house due to information received five minutes before the attack. At the same time, the Israeli army said that on Wednesday it attacked Hamas terrorist bases around the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah, in which 52 aircraft targeted 40 underground targets within 25 minutes.
Gaza’s health ministry said one woman was killed and eight people were injured in these attacks. Hamas-run Al-Aqsa Radio said, one of its journalists was killed in the Gaza airstrikes. Doctors at Shifa Hospital said that five bodies were brought in the early hours. Two of them were killed in a missile attack on the building.

The current chairman of the Security Council, Zhang Xu, said the council urged France to pass a resolution for a ceasefire in Israel-Gaza. But the US stopped the United Nations from issuing a statement calling for a halt to violence. However, the US has appealed for a ceasefire.

Meanwhile, all except one member of the European Union and Hungary appealed for a ceasefire at the emergency meeting. He supported Israel’s self-defense right, condemning Hamas’s rocket attacks. However, they too demanded immediate implementation of the ceasefire.
