Himachal Pradesh : Black fungus has no case in district Una, Health Department mustered out: CMO

Advice to be more vigilant for COVID-19 patients struggling with diseases like sugar and cancer

Una : There is no case of Black Fungus infection in the district Una yet and the Health Department is fully equipped to deal with the disease. Giving this information, CMO Una Dr. Raman Kumar Sharma said that the black fungus corona attacks the eyes of the infected.

He said that initially a person infected with black fungus experiences symptoms such as a cold, nasal congestion, bleeding from the nose, pain, swelling and blackness on the face. As the infection spreads, the patient begins to faint and other mental problems begin. The disease affects the eyes, lungs and internal organs and easily attacks individuals with already weak immunity. He said that patients who have sugar disease or who use steroid drugs are more at risk.

Dr. Raman Kumar Sharma said that black fungus is also affecting the patients being treated for cancer or patients suffering from any chronic disease. Serious patients suffering from corona who are on oxygen support through oxygen masks or ventilators, such patients need to be cautious. Especially patients being treated for corona in the hospital should use the mask for maximum time and even after discharging from the hospital, keep the mask on at home even for 7 days.

Health Department

The CMO said that the health department is fully equipped to deal with black fungus. Guidelines have been issued to all medical officers to avoid this. They have been told to regularly clean the oxygen pipes and use distilled water. He said that it is necessary to take care of your food and drink to avoid black fungus. Increase the amount of zinc, multi vitamins and protein in your food and if symptoms of black fungus come, seek medical advice immediately.

Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
