Petrol in Mumbai at Rs 99.71
The price of petrol and diesel was increased again today, due to which petrol in Mumbai reached Rs 99.71 per liter. In the four major metros of the country today, the price of petrol increased by 23 paise and the price of diesel by 27 paise, which reached a new historical level. Since May 04 till now, the prices of both fossil fuels have been increased for 13 days, while their prices have not been changed for nine days. During this time, petrol in Delhi has become expensive by Rs 3.04 and diesel by Rs 3.59.
According to the website of leading oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, the price of petrol in Mumbai today increased by 22 paise to Rs 99.71 per liter. It has already crossed Rs 100 per liter in some cities of the country. In the national capital Delhi, petrol became expensive by 23 paise at Rs 93.44 per liter and diesel increased by 25 paise to Rs 84.32 per liter. Petrol price increased by 20 paise in Chennai and 22 paise in Kolkata to Rs 95.06 and Rs 93.49 per liter respectively.
The price of diesel rose by 27 paise in Mumbai, 24 paise in Chennai and 25 paise in Kolkata. The price of one liter of diesel reached Rs 91.57 in Mumbai, Rs 89.11 in Chennai and Rs 87.16 in Kolkata. The prices of petrol and diesel are reviewed daily and based on this, new prices are applied every day from six o’clock in the morning.
