Nainital : In Manarsa village of Ramgarh block in Nainital, Uttarakhand, the bride and groom wore PPE kits when the bride was corona infected. Twelve people from both the sides attended the wedding. Along with the bride and groom, the brides and grooms have been home-quarantined for 14 days.
On Monday, the procession reached Manarsa village at 12 noon from Dineshpur (Udham Singh Nagar), in which there were six people including the groom. All the wedding rituals were completed under the supervision of the team of administration and health department. The administration provided PPE kits for both the parties. The bride and groom took rounds wearing PPE kits.
Revenue Inspector Bhuvan Chandra Bhandari and Sub-Inspector Pawan Dhyani said that after marriage, the bride was sent to her in-laws’ house in a separate vehicle, where the entire family in Dineshpur has been arranged for 14 days home quarantine under COVID rules. Khairna Police Constable Harshvardhan Singh, Jitendra Singh Thapa were also present during the wedding program.
The marriage held in Manarsa village wearing PPE kit on Monday was in the news. Local people told that the bride’s father had made special preparations for the wedding, but all the preparations were put on hold due to the daughter getting infected.
However, after getting permission from the SDM, wearing a PPE kit, the bride and groom completed all the wedding rituals on Monday with seven rounds. Discussions continued in the villages of Ramgarh and Betalghat blocks regarding this.
Let us inform that on May 6, in Almora, Uttarakhand, there was a stir when the bride turned out to be corona infected. During that time, all the family members got the bride and groom married wearing a PPE kit.
At the same time, on May 25, when the bride was corona infected in Kaladungi, Haldwani, under the supervision of the police, the bridegroom, the bridegroom as well as the priest and family completed the marriage rituals wearing PPE kits.
