The directionlessness of the Modi government ruined both the production and distribution of the vaccine: Priyanka Gandhi
Terming the vaccination policy of the central government as a failure, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday alleged that due to the directionlessness of this government, both the production and distribution of vaccines have come to a standstill. He also claimed in the Facebook post made under his series ‘Responsible Who’ to ask questions to the government that due to the policy of the central government, there are different prices of vaccines in the country at this time and to vaccinate those who are deprived of internet and documents. No arrangement has been made. Priyanka said, “Experts believe that more and more people, and early vaccination is necessary to defeat the corona virus. Countries that vaccinated a large number of their populations had less impact from the second wave of the Kovid-19 pandemic. The second wave in our country proved to be 320 percent more terrible than the first wave. Who is responsible for this? He alleged, “India has the experience of door-to-door delivery of smallpox, polio vaccines, but the directionlessness of the Modi government has ruined both the production and distribution of the anti-Covid vaccine.” Congress General Secretary said, ‘ Taking the responsibility of immunizing every citizen of the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his speech on 15 August 2020 said that the entire blueprint is ready. But in April 2021, during the devastation of the second wave, Modi ji dragged his hands on the responsibility of giving the vaccine to everyone, putting half of its weight on the state governments. “He claimed,” Today many vaccination centers are locked. And the work of applying the vaccine to the population of the age group of 18-45 years is going on very slowly. ”
According to Priyanka,“ Due to the failed vaccination policy of Modi government, vaccines are being available at different prices. The vaccine which the central government is getting for Rs 150, the state governments are getting the same for Rs 400 and private hospitals for Rs 600. The countrymen will get the vaccine eventually, then why this discrimination? She said, “If we want to vaccinate every Indian by December 2021, then we will have to vaccinate 70-80 lakh people daily. But in May, on an average, only 19 lakh people are vaccinated every day.
