Congress President Sonia Gandhi also expressed concern over the rise in cases of mucor mycosis (black fungus) in the country and the alleged lack of essential medicines a few days ago. In a letter to Narendra Modi, he had requested that urgent steps should be taken to provide relief to the patients of this disease.
