America lifts ban on supply of raw materials needed to make vaccine, India will also get dose

The US has lifted the ban on the export of raw materials needed for the manufacturing of Corona vaccine. Apart from this, India has also been given an important place in the list of its neighboring and partner countries, to whom it is going to supply the corona vaccine. US President Joe Biden has launched the Global Allocation Plan. Under this campaign, 25 million doses of corona vaccines are to be supplied by America to many countries. India is also going to get a major part of this. This change in America’s stand is also notable because for the past few months, it had banned the export of raw materials needed for manufacturing the vaccine. America had earlier implemented the Defense Production Act, due to which it was necessary to give priority to America in the supply of any important thing. Let us tell you that India had also appealed to America to remove this ban. After this, US President Joe Biden had said that India stood with us in difficult times, which we remember and we will also stand with it. Once this ban is lifted, the availability of raw materials will become easier for vaccine manufacturers.

After this step of America, vaccine supply will become easier. Taranjit Sandhu has told that India will benefit from America’s global allocation plan. Under this plan of America, India can get a large number of vaccines. The US is ready to distribute the first installment of 25 million vaccine doses globally to meet the needs of the most vulnerable countries affected by the pandemic, including India.
Sandhu said that the Prime Minister thanked VP Kamala Harris for the assurance of supplying the vaccine to India. The prime minister also appreciated the support and solidarity of the US government, industry, Congress and the diaspora. He further said that Harris and PM Modi talked about efforts to further strengthen the India-US partnership in vaccines, and global health and Further Quad initiatives were also discussed in other areas of economic recovery including health care. PM Modi also invited Harris to visit India soon after the global health situation returned to normal.
